Design Notes
Codon-optimizing was done on the Bay Laurel Thioesterase gene to increase the probability of the E.coli to produce a protein from a plant gene. Codons were also changed to rid the sequence of illegal restriction sites. PCR was used to isolate the coding region from the intermedite part BBa K558003.
